Allan and Melanie Cobham spent 5 exciting days in Port St Lucie with Judith and I. Ali as he is better knows is a boyhood friend I had not seen since the early 70’s.  One of the highlights   of his visit was doing something we had done since we were boys growing up in Bush Hall . In those boyhood days of cricket in de road , fishin’ at Brandons,  Saturday nite Sweetbread from Franklin shop or puddin ‘n souse in Eagle Hall there was an annual event which all de boys got involved in..’making, pasting and flying kites’  and this is what Ali and I did  during one of his days in Port St Lucie. Yes I framed a 30 inch round kite and on Saturday Ali pasted de kite and later that day we went kite flying in a nearby school yard.
